For students:
Attention all of you “would be” Directors, Producers and Writers...
Gallery 111 WANTS YOU to GET CREATIVE in that
Spielberg/SpikeLee kinda’ way.

We’re in need of a Documentary film that will focus on the impact of
Art in our everyday lives, and the need for Arts Education in public schools
like SKINNER.

And we want YOU to make it happen!
So, here’s how it works...

  1. Write an essay. Not a long one, no more than 2 or 3 paragraphs telling us what you think about the importance of an Arts education and how
    Art affects your life.

  2. That essay you’re gonna write? TURN IT IN!
You must drop it off in the Library OR CLICK the email address  video@gallery111.net  to send it via EMAIL.
THE DEADLINE IS MONDAY - FEBRUARY 4TH. No exceptions.

  3. Based on your essays, TEN (10) OF YOU WILL BE SELECTED AS THE
PRODUCTION CREW AND WILL BE NOTIFIED BY TUESDAY - FEBRUARY 12TH. GOOD LUCK!!!

You will write the script, and use video cameras to capture your footage,
which may include interviews with artists, architects and designers,
fellow students, teachers and even the principle.
What ever you like (uh... almost).

You will also visit the video editing studios of MPG to see how all of your
footage is condensed into a 5 minute film and then a 60 second video
for the Gallery 111 website!

Cool stuff, right? Of course it is. Now get to work!

SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR FRIENDS AT MEDIA PROCESS GROUP (MPG)
FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE!!!
